Current Research Interests

Dual control of sexual response; mood and sexuality; women's sexuality and well-being; the effect of hormones (contraceptives, menstruation, etc) on women's sexuality; high risk sexual behavior.
Clinical and Teaching Interests
Sexual Problems. Clinical Director of The Kinsey Institute Sexual Health Clinic and former Director of sexual problem clinics at  Oxford (1969 - 1976) and Edinburgh (1976 - 1995).

Interdisciplinary training in Sexual Therapy and Sex Research.
