Fanny Hill Meets the Red Baron

date 1968
by Barry Mahon, director
medium Poster

Agent Barry Mahon fell from Hollywood's graces after his client, Errol Flynn, starred in what proved to be a disastrous final film, Cuban Rebel Girls. However, Mahon became a bigger success in the world of Adults Only films than he ever was in Hollywood with such films as Fanny Hill Meets the Red Baron (1968). Strangely, in addition to his soft-core film work, Mahon produced a string of children’s films, including The Wonderful Land of Oz, Thumbelina, and Jack and the Beanstalk.

Other sex films that took advantage of the Fanny Hill name during the 1960s include Fanny Hill Meets Lady Chatterley (1967; also directed by Mahon), The Notorious Daughter of Fanny Hill, and Fanny Hill Meets Dr. Erotico, which has the sexy heroine bringing Frankenstein's monster back from the grave.
