Human Sexuality Intensive
What You Will Learn
If you are looking to gain a broad understanding of human sexuality or refresh your knowledge, this course is for you. Participants will explore foundational concepts and recent developments across a range of topics related to human sexuality through an interdisciplinary, evidence-based lens.
Topics will include:
- Sex, gender, and sexuality
- Identity and intersectionality
- Sexual behavior and consent
- Dating and relationships
- And more (see sample schedule below)

Who This Course Is For
This course is relevant to professionals, academics, and individuals interested in psychology, counseling, medicine and allied health, social services, sex tech, law, human resources, media and a wide range of fields where a foundational understanding of human sexuality is beneficial.
Previous participants have come from all over the world, including the United States, Brazil, Canada, Ireland, Germany, Lebanon, Mexico, Panama, and the United Kingdom.
This course is open to both emerging and established professionals looking to specialize their knowledge as well as those seeking new career directions. Applicants may use research, training, and/or career development funds to cover tuition.

What Is Included
Participants who successfully complete the program will receive a course certificate from the Kinsey Institute.
Both online and in-person attendees can expect:
- Four days of live, in-depth instruction (see sample schedule below)

- Insider access to the Kinsey Institute Library & Special Collections
- Networking with Kinsey Institute and Indiana University experts
- Connection to a community of peers
In-person attendance also includes:
- Breakfast and lunch daily

- Pizza and movie night
