Dr. Allison Mazur (she/her) is a mixed-methods social scientist and a postdoctoral research fellow at the Kinsey Institute.

Dr. Mazur has studied topics such as romantic couples’ communication about emotional and sexual intimacy, online sexual harassment in the workplace, and relational maintenance during stressful conditions such as the COVID-19 pandemic and families managing Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. Her current research centers on sexual violence perpetration and prevention, and social support for victims of sexual violence. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed scientific journals including Communication Monographs and Health Communication.
