About the fellowship

The Scholars of Sexology Fellowship supports graduate students whose scholarly work would benefit from the use of library and archival materials at the Kinsey Institute. Award amount
Each recipient of the Scholars of Sexology Fellowship will receive $5,000 in two payments ($2,500 at the start and end of the fellowship). The fellowship must be used to cover travel, lodging, and research expenses associated with the stated purpose. We may select two to three Fellows each year if there is a strong pool of candidates.

  • Deposit of any digital product of this research at the Kinsey Institute Library.
  • Acknowledgement of the Scholars of Sexology Fellowship Award and the Kinsey Institute Library in any form of publication or product.
  • The fellow is also expected to make a contribution to the organization, preservation, and/or accessibility of Kinsey Institute collections.
